UPDATE, Nov. 12 — the launch was successful this morning. Cygnus will arrive at the ISS on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 4:50 am ET.
UPDATE, Nov. 11 — the launch was aborted at the last minute because an aircraft entered restricted airspace. The next attempt will be tomorrow, Nov. 12, at 7:14 am ET. If it takes place as planned, arrival at ISS will be Tuesday.
Original Entry: If launch takes place as planned on November 11, Orbital ATK’s eighth cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station (ISS), OA-8, will arrive at the ISS on November 13.
ISS astronauts will use the robotic Canadarm2 to capture the Cygnus spacecraft at about 5:40 am ET. NASA TV coverage of rendezvous and capture begins at 4:15 am ET.
Ground commands will then install Cygnus onto the ISS Unity node. NASA TV coverage of that operation begins at 7:00 am ET.
Cygnus will remain at the ISS until December 4, 2017.
