PRE-LAUNCH AND SCIENCE BRIEFINGS FOR SOLAR ORBITER, Feb 7, 2020, KSC, 1:00 and 2:30 pm ET

Two briefings for the Solar Orbiter launch will take place on February 7, 2020 at Kennedy Space Center and the adjacent Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The briefings are at 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm ET and will be broadcast on NASA TV and NASA Live.
Solar Orbiter is a joint ESA-NASA program. The ESA spacecraft carries 10 instruments, one of which was provided by NASA along with a sensor. The spacecraft was built by Europe’s Airbus Defence and Space and will be launched by a U.S. United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket. The launch is currently scheduled for February 9 at 11:03 pm ET (NASA TV coverage begins 10:30 pm ET).
