PRE-LAUNCH BFG FOR NG-15 CARGO MISSION TO ISS, Feb 19, 2021, Wallops Island, VA, 11:00 am ET

NASA will hold a pre-launch briefing for the Northrop Grumman NG-15 cargo launch to the International Space Station (ISS) on February 19, 2021 at 11:00 am ET.

The NG-15 Cygnus spacecraft is scheduled for launch the next day at 12:36 pm ET on an Antares rocket from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, VA.

Northrop Grumman names each of its Cygnus spacecraft after a renowned figure in the space program. This one is named Katherine Johnson in honor of one of the female African American mathematicians who calculated trajectories for early NASA human spaceflight missions and whose stories were told in the book and movie Hidden Figures.
