ROLL-OUT OF ARTEMIS I BACK TO LAUNCH COMPLEX-39B, Nov 4, 2022, KSC

NASA plans to roll the Artemis I “stack” from the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) back to Launch Complex-39B on November 4 in preparation for the next launch attempt on November 14.

Roll-out is expected to begin just after midnight on November 4. It takes 8-12 hours for the Transporter Crawler to make the 4-mile trip.

The stack — the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft — had to be returned to the VAB in September for protection from Hurricane Ian after two launch attempts on August 29 and September 3 were scrubbed.
