RUSSIAN SPACEWALK AT ISS (1 of 3), Apr 18, 2023, Earth orbit, 9:30 pm ET (NASA TV)

Russia plans to resume the series of spacewalks it had planned for the end of the last year. They were suspended after the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft coolant leak on December 14, 2022 ET (December 15 UTC).

The original pair of cosmonauts who were to conduct the spacewalks, Sergey Prokopyev and Dmitri Petelin, have had their mission extended by six months to September so are still aboard and will do them as planned.

This spacewalk will begin at 9:30 PM ET. and is expected to last about 6 hours and 40 minutes or until about 4:00 am ET on April 19.  NASA TV coverage begins at 9:00 pm ET.
