Update, October 21: NASA’s most recent TV schedule says the spacewalk will begin at 2:10 pm ET and TV coverage begins at 1:45 pm ET.
Original Entry: Two Russian cosmonauts, Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub, will perform a spacewalk at the International Space Station on October 25, 2023 “to install a synthetic radar communications system, deploy a solar sail technology satellite, replace electrical connector patch panels, and photograph the Multipurpose Laboratory Module’s external radiator.” The MLM, or Nauka, radiator leaked coolant on October 9 which is why they are inspecting it.
The spacewalk will begin about 2:30 pm ET with NASA TV coverage beginning at 2:00 pm ET. It will last about 6 hours 45 minutes.
