Update, March 15: NASA says it is targeting a two-hour window, 3:00-5:00 pm ET, on March 18 for the test. NASA TV coverage will begin 30 minutes before the test. The exact time will be announced later. A press conference will be held approximately two hours after the test.
Update, March 10: The test has been rescheduled for March 18.
Update, Feb. 22: NASA has postponed the test due an issue with a valve. A new date was not announced.
Update: NASA confirms the test will take place on February 25. The nominal start time is 4:00 pm Central Time (5:00 pm Eastern), but officials say it could start as much as an hour earlier if preparations go smoothly.
Original Entry: NASA is targeting February 25, 2021 for the second Hot Fire test of the Space Launch System’s core stage at Stennis Space Center, MS. The date will be confirmed after a test readiness review.
The 8-minute test was cut short during the first attempt on January 16.
