Update, February 7: The committee confirms the hearing, but it is entitled “NASA Accountability and Oversight.”  The witnesses are:

• Mr. James Free, Associate Administrator, NASA Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate
• Mr. James Reuter, Associate Administrator, NASA Space Technology Mission Directorate
• Dr. Thomas Zurbuchen, Associate Administrator, NASA Science Mission Directorate
• Mr. W. William Russell, Director, Government Accountability Office Contracting & National Security Acquisitions Team
• Dr. Scott Pace, Director, Space Policy Institute and Professor of the Practice of International Affairs at the George Washington University

The hearing will be webcast on the committee’s website.

Original entry: The Space and Science Subcommittee of the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee apparently will hold a hearing on February 9, 2022 at 2:30 pm ET in 253 Russell Senate Office Building on “NASA public private partnerships, focusing on models for collaboration and lessons learned.”

As of Sunday, February 6, the hearing is not listed on the committee’s website, but it is on two other congressional websites. We will update this entry when we get more information.
