POSTPONED AGAIN
SENATE APPROPRIATIONS MARKUP OF FY2027 CJS BILL (postponed again)
Event Navigation
Update June 23: The meeting has been postponed again reportedly because Sen. Mitch McConnell is absent due to illness and Republicans need his vote because they have only a 1-vote margin and some issues, especially regarding the Department of Justice, are very partisan.

Update, June 21: The meeting has been rescheduled for June 25, 2026 at 10:00 am ET and the Military Construction bill added. The markup will be webcast on the committee’s website.

Update, June 2: The committee has postponed the meeting. A new date is TBD. Politico has an interesting article about some of the reasons for the delay.

Original Entry: The Senate Appropriations Committee will mark up three FY2027 appropriations bills on June 4, 2026 beginning at 10:00 am ET. The Commerce-Justice-Science bill that funds NASA is third on the list. (The others are Agriculture and Legislative Branch.)
More information is on the committee’s website, where the markup will be livestreamed.
