The Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee will hold a nomination hearing on October 22, 2025 in 253 Russell Senate Office building at 10:30 am ET on four nominees, one of which is Timothy Petty to be Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere and Deputy Administrator of NOAA. The others are for the Maritime Administration and the Federal Maritime Commission.
