SENATE COMMERCE COMMITTEE ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING, Jan 16, 2019, DC, 10:00 am ET (webcast)

The Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee will hold its organizational meeting for the 116th Congress on January 16, 2019 at 10:00 am ET in 106 Dirksen Senate Office Building.  The meeting will be webcast on the committee’s website.

The committee has a new chairman, Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS), and Ranking Member, Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA).  Wicker replaces Sen. John Thune who moved up to be Senator Majority Whip.  Cantwell replaces Sen. Bill Nelson, who lost his reelection race.
