SENATE COMMERCE HRG ON NOMINATION OF MICHAEL WHITAKER AS FAA ADMIN, Oct 4, 2023, DC, 10:00 am ET

Update, October 2: The hearing will now take place a day earlier, October 4, because many Senators will be attending the funeral of the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein in California on October 5. Feinstein died on Friday.

Original Entry: The Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee will hold a hearing on October 5, 2023 at 10:00 am ET in 253 Russell Senate Office Building on the nomination of Michael Whitaker to be Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The FAA’s Office of Commercial Space Transportation regulates, facilitiates and promotes the commercial space launch and reentry business.

Nominee Whitaker is the sole witness.  The hearing will be webcast on the committee’s website.
