SENATE INTELLIGENCE CMTE NOMINATION HRG FOR AVRIL HAINES TO BE DNI, Jan 19, 2021, DC, 10:00 am ET

The Senate Intelligence Committee will hold a hearing in open session on January 19, 2021 at 10:00 am ET in 215 Dirksen Senate Office Building on the expected nomination of Avril Haines to be Director of National Intelligence (DNI) in the Biden Administration.

The DNI oversees the 18-member Intelligence Community (IC), which includes the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).  NRO builds and operates the nation’s spy satellites.
