SENATE VOTE ON BRIDENSTINE NOMINATION TO BE NASA ADMINISTRATOR, Apr 19, 2018, DC, 1:45 pm ET
Event Navigation
Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has scheduled a vote on the nomination of Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R-Oklahoma) to be NASA Administrator on April 19.
The Senate will convene at 10:00 am ET and debate on the nomination will begin after leader remarks. The vote on the nomination will take place at 1:45 pm ET.
Senate proceedings can be watched on CSPAN or the Senate’s own website (http://senate.gov).
The Bridenstine nomination narrowly survived a cloture vote on April 18, making debate on the nomination in order. The cloture vote allows up to 30 hours of debate, but apparently agreement was reached for a shorter period of debate, which will begin on the morning of April 19 and conclude with the vote at 1:45 pm ET.
