Soyuz MS-12 and three International Space Station crew members will return to Earth on October 3, 2019, landing in Kazakhstan.
Undocking from ISS is at 3:35 am ET (NASA TV coverage begins 3:00 am ET). [NOTE: The undocking time has been refined to 3:36 am ET.]
Deorbit burn is at 6:00 am ET and landing will take place at 6:58 am ET (NASA TV coverage of the deorbit burn and landing begins at 5:30 am ET). [NOTE: The deorbit burn time has been refined to 6:06 am ET and the landing time to 7:00 am ET]
The three people returning on this flight are:
- NASA astronaut Nick Hague
- Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksey Ochinin
- UAE spaceflight participant Hazzaa Ali Almansoori
Hague and Ovchinin launched on Soyuz MS-12 on March 14, 2019 after surviving a launch abort on Soyuz MS-10 on October 11, 2018.
Almansoori will launch on Soyuz MS-15 on September 25 for an 8-day mission. He is a spaceflight participant (“tourist”) and the first from the United Arab Emirates.
