Arizona State University’s Interplanetary Initiative will hold a Space Futures Live event on August 24, 2023 at the Rob and Melani Walton Center for Planetary Health at university’s Tempe, AZ campus from 1:30-5:00 pm PACIFIC Time.
Although the title is Space Futures Live, the website does not indicate that a livestream will be avalable. It appears to be only an in-person event.

- Shannon Curry, space physics: What have we learned at Earth and what can we learn at Mars?
- MJ Rubenstein, religion: Do human beings deserve another planet?
- Christopher Johnson, space law: What space law innovations enable interplanetary humanity?
- Hiro Ono, robotics: How far can we (humans and robots) go?
- Jacques Arnould, ethics: Why would a nation state encourage the emergence of an interplanetary humanity?
- Lisa Ruth Rand, history: How can lessons from the past help inform space futures?
