Update, March 8: As of 10:45 am ET, this is till on for noon today.
Update, March 6: Yes, still another delay. Now March 8, same time. “The additional time will allow SpaceX to complete rocket preparations ahead of liftoff.” This event is now March 8, 12:00 pm ET.
Update, March 5: the launch has been delayed yet again. Now March 7, same time, 10:09 pm ET, “due to the availability of a launch opportunity on the Western range.” This launch preview is at 12:00 pm ET.
Update, March 3, 7:00 pm ET: The launch has been postponed until March 6.
The SPHEREx blog says: “NASA and SpaceX now are targeting no earlier than Thursday, March 6, for the launch of the agency’s SPHEREx and PUNCH missions. The additional time will allow teams to complete vehicle processing and prelaunch checkouts.”
NASA’s list of upcoming media events (on NASA Live) shows the time for this briefing as 2:00 pm ET.
Update, February 28: the launch has slipped again, to March 4. This event will take place that day at 12:00 pm ET on NASA+.
Update, February 27: the launch date slipped to March 2. This launch preview is now March 2 at 12:00 pm ET.
Original entry: As of February 23, NASA’s press release with the list of events leading up to the launch of SPHEREx and PUNCH on February 28 includes a “launch preview” on February 28 on NASA+ at 12:00 pm ET. The NASA Live list of upcoming NASA events shows it as a day earlier, February 27, however.
The launch date slipped from the 27th to the 28th so we assume this is on 28th as the updated press release says.
