SpX-17 PRE-LAUNCH PRESS CONFERENCE, May 2, 2019, KSC

UPDATE:  This press conference eventually took place on May 2.  Much of the discussion focused on the Crew Dragon anomaly on April 20 rather than SpX-17.

UPDATE Apr 30:  The launch has been postponed to May 3 at 3:11 am ET because of a problem with the electrical system on the ISS. As of 11:30 am ET, NASA has not indicated if this briefing also will be postponed.

Previous post: NASA and SpaceX will hold a pre-launch press conference on April 30, 2019 at Kennedy Space Center, FL at 1:00 pm ET for the 17th SpaceX cargo mission to the International Space Station (ISS), SpaceX-17 or SpX-17.

The launch was scheduled for April 30, but has been rescheduled for May 1 at 3:59 am ET.  Concurrently, this briefing, originally scheduled for April 29, will now be on April 30.  (A “What’s on Board” science briefing remains scheduled for April 29.)

Participants in the April 30 briefing include representatives of the ISS program, SpaceX, and the U.S Air Force 45th Space Wing who were not specified in the NASA press release.
