SSB CMTE ON EARTH SCIENCE AND APPLICATIONS FROM SPACE (Natl Acad), Mar 24, 2021, virtual, 10:50 am-3:45 pm ET

The Committee on Earth Science and Applications from Space (CESAS) of the Space Studies Board (SSB) of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will meet virtually on March 24, 2021.  Some sessions are open and some are closed.  The open session is 10:50 am – 3:45 pm ET.

The meeting is part of SSB’s annual Space Science Week where all six of SSB’s standing committees, some of which are sponsored by other Boards as well, meet in plenary and individual sessions. The plenary session is on March 23 and concludes with a public lecture from 5:30-6:30 pm ET on “Climate as Seen from Space” featuring NASA’s Acting Senior Climate Advisor Gavin Schmidt.

The entire Space Science Week, including the public lecture, is virtual due to the pandemic.
