Update, July 23, 4:20 pm ET: SpaceX is postponing the launch for one day. Now July 24, same time.
They explained on X: “A key objective for the flight test is to get clear imagery from the ground of Starship’s heatshield as it flies at a higher dynamic pressure during ascent, which won’t be possible with today’s weather conditions. Visibility is forecast to be ideal for a Friday attempt.”
UPDATE, July 19, 6:20 pm ET: The SpaceX website now says “as early as” July 23. Same time.
UPDATE, July 18: The launch is rescheduled for “as early as” July 20, same time — 6:45 pm ET (5:45 pm Central).
SCRUB: the launch scrubbed at engine ignition because four engines didn’t start.
Original Entry: SpaceX will launch Starship’s 13th Integrated Flight Test (IFT-13) as soon as Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 5:45 pm CENTRAL Time (6:45 pm Eastern).
