Update, March 5: It’s slipped another day, to March 6. Same time.
Update, March 4: SpaceX is now targeting March 5 at 5:30 pm CENTRAL Time (6:30 pm Eastern).
Update, March 3, 6:54 pm ET: The launch was scrubbed due to unspecifIed problems with the booster and the ship. They counted down as far as T-40 seconds where they can hold for several minutes, and briefly resumed the count, but that tripped other triggers and they scrubbed for the day. They could try again tomorrow, but it depends on what’s needed to fix the problems.
Update, February 26: The target launch date has slipped to March 3.

Original Entry: SpaceX will conduct the eighth Integrated Flight Test (IFT-8) of the Super Heavy/Starship system on February 28, 2025 pending regulatory approval.
The launch window opens at 5:30 pm CENTRAL Time (6:30 pm Eastern). SpaceX’s livestream will begin about 40 minutes before liftoff.
