SWOT PRE-LAUNCH BRIEFING, Dec 14, 2022, VSFB, 1:00 pm ET

NASA will hold a pre-launch briefing on December 14, 2022 at 1:00 pm ET for the NASA/CNES Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) mission, which is scheduled for launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA on December 15.

CNES is the French space agency.

The pre-launch briefing will air on NASA TV and YouTube.

Participants are:

• Karen St. Germain, Earth Science Division director, NASA
• Thierry Lafon, SWOT project manager, CNES
• Tim Dunn, launch director, NASA’s Launch Services Program
• Julianna Scheiman, civil satellite missions director, SpaceX
• Parag Vaze, SWOT project manager, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory
• Capt. Zack Zounes, launch weather officer, U.S. Space Force
