TRACKING DEVELOPMENTS IN COUNTERSPACE WEAPONS (SWF/CSIS), Apr 20, 2022, virtual, 9:00-10:30 am ET

Update, April 19:  This event now will take place virtually ONLY. Not in-person.  Two more speakers have been added:

  • Eric Desautels from State Dept (Acting DAS for Emerging Security Challenges) and
  • John Hill from DOD (DASD for Space and Missile Defense Policy).

Original Entry: The Secure World Foundation (SWF) and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) will hold their annual joint event where each organization presents its separate review of counterspace developments around the world.

This year’s event is on April 20, 2022 from 9:00-10:30 am ET and will discuss the 2022 SWF Global Counterspace Capabilities report and the CSIS 2022 Space Threat Assessment.

The event will be held in-person at the CSIS Global Headquarters located at 1616 Rhode Island Ave NW, Washington, DC, and livestreamed on the CSIS website.
