Transportation Research Bd Annual Mtg, Jan 2017, DC

The Transportation Research Board (TRB) of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine will held its annual meeting from January 7-12, 2017 in Washington, DC at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.  The theme is Transportation Innovation: Leading the Way in an Era of Rapid Change. 

Of the more than 800 sessions, at least three are on commercial space transportation:

• Sunday, January 8, 1:30-4:30 pm ET:  Commercial Space: Exploring the Path Forward (chaired by Diane Howard, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University)
• Tuesday, January 10, 1:30-3:15 pm ET: Commercial Space Transportation, Joint Subcommittee (chaired by William Laska)
• Tuesday, January 10, 6:00-7:30 pm ET:  Evolution of Nongovernmental Space Industry Segments (chaired by Ken Davidian, FAA/AST)
