TRUMP PRESENTS AWARD TO ARTEMIS II CREW, Aug 28, 2026, JSC, 11:00 am ET (livestreamed)

President Trump will present the Congressional Space Medal of Honor to the crew of Artemis II on August 28, 2026 at 11:00 am ET at Johnson Space Center, TX.

The crew — NASA’s Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover and Christina Koch and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen — were the first humans to travel around the Moon since Apollo 17 in 1972. They did not orbit the Moon, or land, but traveled further from Earth than any other humans as they swung around the Moon on a free-return trajectory from April 1-10, 2026.
