TRUMP SIGNS SPD-4, Feb 19, 2019, DC, 2:00 pm ET

President Trump will sign Space Policy Directive-4 (SPD-4) on February 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm ET.  Vice President Mike Pence, who chairs the White House National Space Council, will also be in attendance.

SPD-4 concerns creation of a Space Force within the U.S. Air Force.

The White House has not indicated as of February 18, 2019 at 11:00 pm ET whether the event will be webcast, but it is listed on the President’s schedule as “closed press” so probably will not be.
