NASA OVERVIEW BRIEFING FOR CREW-10’S LAUNCH: Mar 7, 2025, KSC, 6:30 pm ET

Update, March 7, 5:45 pm ET:  It’s been delayed another half hour to 6:30 pm ET.

Update, March 7, 5:00 pm:  The time for this briefing has slipped half an hour to 6:00 pm ET.

Update, March 5: NASA issued a press release today with the times for all the Crew-10 media events.

This one is at 5:30 pm ET on Friday, March 7 following the Flight Readiness Review. The time could change if the FRR runs long.  Audio-only coverage will be provided on NASA Live.

Participants are:

  • Steve Stich, manager, Commercial Crew Program, NASA Kennedy
  • Dana Weigel, manager, International Space Station Program, NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston
  • Meg Everett, deputy chief scientist, NASA’s International Space Station Program, NASA Johnson
  • William Gerstenmaier, vice president, Build and Flight Reliability, SpaceX
  • Junichi Sakai, manager, International Space Station Program, JAXA

Update, February 21: NASA has postponed both briefings.  The Overview Briefing now is on March 7 following the Flight Readiness Review.  The Crew Briefing will take place after the crew arrives at Kennedy Space Center. Details to follow. Both briefings will be at Kennedy Space Center instead of Johnson Space Center.

Original Entry: NASA will hold two briefings on February 24, 2025 in preparation for the launch of Crew-10 to the International Space Station, which is scheduled for March 12.  The second briefing, with the crew members themselves, will include NASA astronaut Jonny Kim who will launch to the ISS on the next Russian Soyuz flight, Soyuz MS-27, in April.

The briefings will air on NASA+.
