U.S. ASTRONAUT HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY, Nov 13, 2021, KSC, 11:00 am ET

NASA Deputy Administrator Pam Melroy, a former astronaut and one of only two women to command a space shuttle mission, will be inducted into the Astronaut Hall of Fame on November 13, 2021 at 11:00 am ET.

Former NASA astronauts Michael López-Alegria (now an astronaut for Axiom Space) and Scott Kelly also will be inducted. Kelly holds the record for the longest continuous duration on orbit for an American, 340 days, although that is about to be eclipsed by Mark Vende Hei who is currently on the International Space Station and set to return in March 2022 after 355 days in space.

NASA Television, the NASA app, and the agency’s website will cover the event, which will feature remarks by NASA Administrator Bill Nelson among others.
