Some reports have said it will enter orbit at 10:42 am ET, but a February 8 tweet from Aviation Week reporter Irene Klotz (@free_space), quoting Hope project manager Omran Sharaf, says the 27-minute braking burn begins at 10:31 am ET, so that would put it in orbit at 10:58 am ET. It takes 11 minutes for a signal to travel from Mars to Earth so it will take that long to confirm everything is in order.
