VULCAN LAUNCH OF 40 AMAZON LEO SATELLITES (ULA), Nov 13, 2026, CCSFS

United Launch Alliance (ULA) will launch the next Vulcan rocket on November 13, 2026 pending range approval and weather. The time was not announced.

This is the first Vulcan launch since February 2026 when one of the two Solid Rocket Booster’s malfunctioned, the second time on the four Vulcan launches to date. The Vulcan core stage and Centaur upper stage compensated for the anomaly and put the USSF payload into the correct orbit nonetheless, but troubleshooting and remedying the failure has taken until now.

The launch will place 40 Amazon Leo satellites into orbit as part of Amazon’s broadband satellite communications system.  It’s first Vulcan launch of Amazon Leo satellites. Others have launched on ULA’s Atlas V rocket and rockets from other companies.
