Original entry: The Commercial Spaceflight Federation (CSF) and MITRE will roll-out a report summarizing their workshop on “Human Research Program for Space Flight Passengers in Commercial Space” on November 16, 2021 from 1:00-2:30 pm ET.

Dear CSF Friends,

CSF is excited to share a new effort around research opportunities for the health, safety and comfort of civilians in the commercialization of space. In anticipation of the increasing numbers of individuals who will be traveling, living and working in space in the coming decades, many with underlying health problems and disabilities, we have taken the first steps towards creation of a human research program to better understand and support these unique public health needs.

Please join us on November 16 from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM ET for the virtual Roll Out of the CSF/MITRE Workshop Summary Report which includes highlights of the Workshop conducted in May 2021 and the proposed Human Research Program for Space Flight Passengers in Commercial Space.
