WORLD SPACE WEEK 2026, Oct 4-10, 2026, global

World Space Week takes place every year from October 4-10 to mark the beginning of the Space Age on October 4, 1957 with the launch of Sputnik by the Soviet Union and the entry into force of the U.N. Outer Space Treaty on October 10, 1967.

Events take place globally and World Space Week has its own website to keep up to date on what’s planned.

The 2026 theme is “Rocket Revolution.”
