INTERNATIONAL ASTRONAUTICAL CONGRESS (IAC) 2018, Oct 1-5, 2018, Bremen, Germany (portions available by webcast for a fee)

The 69th International Astronautical Congress will be held October 1-5, 2018 at the Exhbition & Conference Center Bremen, in Bremen, Germany.

The IAC combines meetings of the:

• International Astronautical Federation (IAF),
• International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), and the
• International Institute of Space Law (IISL)

Details are on the event’s website.  Portions of the conference will be webcast, but for a fee.  Sessions listed on that website show a price of €20 each, although packages are also available.

A number of associated meetings are usually held in the days prior to the IAC, including the Space Generation Congress, which will be held September 27-29, 2018 in Bremen.

The 2018 IAC also takes place partially during the annual United Nations World Space Week (October 4-10).  It  will also coincide with NASA’s 60th anniversary.  NASA opened its doors on October 1, 1958.
