POSTPONED
JOINT MEETING OF NASA’S ASTROPHYSICS PROGRAM ANALYSIS GROUPS, Jan 9, 2022, 5:00 pm ET
Event Navigation
Update, January 5, 2022: The COPAG website now says this meeting is postponed indefinitely. (Note that the NASA astrophysics Town Hall meeting scheduled for January 11 will still take place as a virtual meeting. See our separate Calendar entry for that meeting. Press conferences scheduled for the AAS meeting also will take place virtually January 10-13.)
Update: The AAS cancelled its Salt Lake City meeting (in-person and virtual) because of the spread of the omicron COVID variant.
As of January 3, 2022, the COPAG website lists this joint PAG meeting as a hybrid event taking place on Sunday, January 9 from 3:00-5:00 pm Mountain Time (5:00-7:00 pm Eastern) and lists a room at the Salt Lake City convention center. Presumably the in-person portion of this meeting has been cancelled and the website has not been updated, but whether it will still take place as a a virtual-only meeting is not clear. A WebEx link is provided on that website at the moment.
Check the COPAG website for up to date information.
Original Entry: NASA’s astrophysics program analysis groups (ExoPAG, PhysPAG and COPAG) will meet jointly in conjunction with the American Astronautical Society’s (AAS’s) winter meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah. According to the AAS agenda, this meeting is on January 10, 2022 from 12:30-1:30 pm Mountain Time (2:30-3:30 pm Eastern).
ExoPAG is meeting separately from January 8-9, and COPAG is meeting on January 13. As of November 14, 2021 we have not seen a separate meeting listed for PhysPAG (Physics of the Cosmos).
