EMERGING SECURITY ISSUES IN SPACE POLICY (CSIS), Dec 14, 2022, DC, 1:30-3:40 pm ET

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) will hold an event on December 14, 2022 from 1:30-3:40 pm ET (followed by a reception for those attending in person) at its office at 1616 Rhode Island Ave., NW, Washington DC.

The event will be webcast.

The first part of the event (1:30-2:20 pm ET) is a fireside chat with John Plumb, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy, on “The State of Space Security.”

The second part (2:30-3:40 pm ET) is a panel discussion and release of a CSIS report on “The Growing Potential of LEO Broadband.”

Participants are:

  • Jaisha Wray, Associate Administrator for International Affairs at the Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA)
  • Sarah Mineiro, CEO and Owner of Tangara Enterprises
  • Moderated by: Kari A. Bingen, Director of the Aerospace Security Project and Senior Fellow in the International Security Program, CSIS
