NASA/CSA BFG ON UPCOMING SPACEWALK TO REPAIR CANADARM2, June 25, 2026, JSC, 2:00 pm ET

On June 25, 2026 at 2:00 pm ET, NASA and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) will discuss an upcoming spacewalk at the International Space Station that will repair a wrist joint on Canadarm2 that malfunctioned on May 27.
The briefing will take place at Johnson Space Center and be livestreamed on NASA’s YouTube channel. More information is in NASA’s press release.
Briefing participants are:
- Bill Spetch, operations and integration manager, International Space Station Program, NASA Johnson
- Fiona Antkowiak, spacewalk flight director, NASA Johnson
- Jason Dyer, deputy liaison manager, CSA
NASA astronauts Chris Williams and Jessica Meir will perform the spacewalk on June 30. NASA spacewalk coverage begins at 7 a.m. EDT on NASA+, Amazon Prime, Netflix, and the agency’s YouTube channel.
