ESA will hold virtual briefings in four languages on September 4, 2026 to preview the September 14 (local time) launch on a Vega rocket from Kourou, French Guiana, of the Fluorescence Imaging Spectrometer (FLEX) Earth Explorer mission and the Copernicus Sentinel-3C satellite.

The four briefings are in German, English, French and Italian.
The English-language briefing at 14:00 Central European Summer Time (CEST, which is 8:00 am Eastern Daylight Time) will air on ESA’s website. Participants in that briefing are:

- Mauro Facchini, Head of Copernicus Unit, European Commission (DG DEFIS)
- Phil Evans, Director-General, Eumetsat
- Yvan Baillion, Director of Earth Observation, Science and Exploration Programs, Thales Alenia Space
