- NASA Town Hall — cancelled (Replaced by a DOE Cosmic Frontier Town Hall. DOE is not affected by the shutdown)
- James Webb Space Telescope Town Hall — cancelled
- NSF Town Hall — will go on as scheduled, but will be led remotely (NSF’s division director, Richard Green, is an employee of the University of Arizona on assignment to NSF, not a civil servant, so can participate from home, though not travel to the conference site)
