Event Navigation
Update, January 6: The COPAG website states that the meeting has been cancelled because Paul Hertz cannot participate remotely or in person because of the government shutdown. It adds that Hertz plans a “web Town Hall after the government reopens.”
Original Entry: NASA’s astrophysics-related Program Analysis Groups (PAGs) will meet in conjunction with the AAS Winter Meeting at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, WA.
The joint PAG meeting with Paul Hertz, NASA Astrophysics Division Director, is on January 6, 2019 in room 4C-3 of the convention center from 1:30-3:00 pm Pacific Time (4:30-6:00 pm ET). It will be available remotely by WebEx.
More information and call-in instructions are on the COPAG website.
NASA has three astrophysics PAGS: Physics of the Universe (PhysPAG), Exoplanet Exploration (ExoPAG), and Cosmic Origins (COPAG). ExoPAG, COPAG, and PhysPAG have other meetings as well in conjunction with AAS.
Note that NASA participation in all these meetings could be affected by the government shutdown if it is not resolved before these meetings and the conference begin.
