ASTRONAUT FRANK RUBIO HONORED BY SEC OF THE ARMY, Feb 22, 2024, 12:20 pm ET (livestreamed)

Secretary of the Army Christine Wormuth will present the “Army Astronaut Device” to NASA astronaut Col. Frank Rubio on February 22, 2024 at 12:20 pm ET.  The pinning ceremony will be livestreamed on defense.gov. The location was not announced.

Rubio holds the record for the longest continuous spaceflight by a U.S. astronaut, 371 days. His 6-month tour aboard the International Space Station stretched to more than a year after the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft that delivered him and two Russian crewmates to the ISS leaked its coolant into space and had to be replaced.
