ESA PRESS CONFERENCE AFTER 316TH COUNCIL MEETING, June 29, 2023, Stockholm/online, 8:00 am ET

The ESA Council will hold its 316th meeting in Stockholm, Sweden from June 28-29, 2023.

On June 29 from 14:00-15:00 Central European Summer Time (8:00-9:00 am EDT), ESA Director General Josef Aschbacher and ESA Council Chair Anna Rathsman (Sweden) will hold a press conference at Hotel Hasselbacken (Hazelius Hall), Hazeliusbacken 20, 115 21 Stockholm, SW, and online.

They will “provide an update on the launch of new ESA Earth observation missions, upcoming astronaut missions, the Space Summit planned for 6-7 November 2023 in Sevilla (Spain), as well as the decision on the public release of official ESA documents.”

The briefing will be broadcast on ESA TV.

Rathsman’s three-year term as ESA Council Chair ends on Friday, June 30. On July 1, Renato Krpoun (Switzerland) will begin his tenure as chair.
