HASC FULL CMTE MARKUP OF THE FY2024 NDAA, June 21, 2023, DC, 10:00 am ET
Event Navigation
Update, June 5: The markup was postponed until after Congress passed the Fiscal Responsbility Act, which limits government spending for FY2024 and FY2025. Defense spending is exempted from cuts, but cannot exceed President Biden’s $886 billlon request pursuant to that law.
The markup now has been rescheduled for June 21, 2023 in 2118 Rayburn House Office Building starting at 10:00 am ET. These markups usually last all day and often into the next day.
Update, May 9: HASC Chairman Mike Rogers (R-AL) announced today that the markup has been postponed. In a statement he said:
Original Entry: The House Armed Services Committee (HASC) will mark up the FY2024 National Defense Authorization Act on May 23, 2023 in 2118 Rayburn House Office Building starting at 10:00 am ET. These markups typically last through the entire day and into the early hours of the next day.
The markup will be webcast on the committee’s website.
Subcommittee markups are May 11-12. See our separate Calendar entry for the May 11 Strategic Forces subcommittee markup.
