RIBBON CUTTING EVENT FOR NASA’S EARTH INFORMATION CENTER, June 21, 2023, DC, 9:00 am ET

NASA will hold a ribbon-cutting event opening its Earth Information Center (EIC) at NASA HQ in Washington, DC on June 21, 2023 at 9:00 am ET. The event will air on NASA TV, the NASA App, and NASA Live.

Participants are:

• Bill Nelson, NASA Administrator
• Kate Calvin, NASA chief scientist and senior climate advisor
• Karen St. Germain, the director NASA’s Earth Sciences Division
• representatives of some of the EIC’s founding partners: NOAA, USGS, USDA, USAID, EPA, and FEMA

The EIC website will go live on June 21 and the exhibit at NASA HQ will be open to the public beginning June 26.

According to NASA’s press release: “The exhibit includes large, awe-inspiring videos, as well as interactive media, stories, and narratives.”
