HOUSE TO CONSIDER PROSWIFT SPACE WEATHER BILL, Sept 16, 2020, time TBD

The House of Representatives is scheduled to take up S. 881, the Promoting Research and Observations of Space Weather to Improve the Forecasting of Tomorrow (PROSWIFT) Act, under suspension of the rules on September 16, 2020.

The bill passed the Senate on July 27.

S. 881 is one of seven bills on the suspension calendar for that day.  It is an expedited process used for bills expected to be non-controversial.  A 2/3 vote is required for passage.
