JAXA-NASA COOPERATION IN ADDRESSING CLIMATE CHANGE, July 21, 2021, virtual, 9:00 am ET

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and NASA will will hold a webinar on July 21, 2021 from 9:00-10:00 am Eastern Daylight Time/10:00-11:00 pm Japan Standard Time.

The topic is “JAXA-NASA Cooperation in Addressing Climate Change.”

Participants are:

• Dr. Gavin Schmidt, NASA Senior Climate Adviser (Acting) and Director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies
• Prof. Tadahiro Hayasaka, Senior Advisor of JAXA’s Earth Observation Research Center

They will present current and future climate missions of JAXA and NASA and discuss the importance of international partnership in addressing climate change.
