LAUNCH OF GOES-T WEATHER SATELLITE, Mar 1, 2022, Cape Canaveral, FL, 4:38 pm ET

The launch of NOAA’s GOES-T geostationary weather satellite on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket is scheduled for March 1, 2022 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 4:38 pm ET. It has a two-hour launch window.
Once in orbit and operational, it will be renamed GOES-18 and replace GOES-17 as the “GOES-West” satellite covering the western part of the United States.
