Roscosmos will launch the Soyuz MS-28 crew to the International Space Station on November 27, 2025 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The launch time is 4:27 am Eastern Standard Time according to NASA.
- Live launch coverage begins on NASA+, Amazon Prime, and the agency’s YouTube channel at 3:30 am EST.
- Rendezvous and docking coverage begins at 6:45 am EST for docking at 7:38 am EST.
- Coverage resumes at 9:50 am EST for hatch opening at 10:10 am EST followed by welcoming remarks.
The three crew members are:
- Sergey Kud-Sverchkov (Roscosmos)
- Sergei Mikaev (Roscosmos)
- Christopher Williams (NASA)

They will spend about 8 months aboard the ISS. Russia is extending crew missions to reduce the number of Soyuz flights from four every two years to three every two years. This is Kud-Sverchkov’s second flight. Mikayev and Williams are rookies.
