Thanksgiving Day is celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday of November to give thanks for all that we have. The tradition dates back to the early settlers, but it was President Lincoln in 1863 who “encouraged Americans to recognize the last Thursday of November as ‘a day of Thanksgiving.’”
