MOVIE PREMIER: FIRST TO THE MOON–AN ACCOUNT OF THE APOLLO 8 MISSION, Dec. 12, 2018, DC, 4:30-7:00 pm ET

George Washington University’s Space Policy Institute will present the Washington premier of the movie “First to the Moon: An Account of the Apollo 8 Mission” on December 12, 2018 from 4:30-7:00 pm ET at GWU’s Elliott School of International Affairs building, 1957 E Street, N.W., Suite 403.

There is no admission charge, but advance RSVP is requested to spi@gwu.edu or 202-994-7292.

“Paul Hildenbrandt, creator of Fight for Space (2016), has put together a new full-length documentary that tells the story of the December 1968 Apollo 8 mission and the men who flew it. Through restored archival films from NASA, the National Archives, and the crews’ personal collection, plus extensive interviews with Frank Borman, Jim Lovell, and Bill Anders, the film recreates humanity’s first flight to orbit the Moon.”
