Update, August 8: The agenda is finally posted.
Original Entry: The NASA Advisory Council (NAC) will meet virtually from August 9-10, 2022. NASA issued a press release announcing the meeting and the new members of NAC appointed by NASA Administrator Bill Nelson, a former member of NAC himself. NAC reports to the NASA Administrator.
The Federal Register notice, reproduced below, provides additional information.
The public portions of the meeting are 1:00-5:30 pm ET each day and the public may participate only virtually. The notice suggests but does not state that the NAC members themselves will be meeting in person.
SUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announces a meeting of the NASA Advisory Council (NAC). DATES: Tuesday, August 9, 2022, 1 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Eastern Time; and Wednesday, August 10, 2022, 1 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Eastern Time. ADDRESSES: The meeting will be virtual for members of the public. Dial- in audio teleconference and webcast details to watch the meeting remotely will be available on the NASA Advisory Council website at: www.nasa.gov/offices/nac/home/index.html.
